Special Purpose Equipment

We work closely with customers to deliver automation projects from small jigs to fully automated systems. Using our technical design expertise and experience we will find the right solution for you, whilst also reducing your production costs.

We’ll take on your automation challenges, providing you with peace of mind and freeing up your time to focus on your wider business. Customer needs are at the heart of everything we do and we’re a trusted partner to some of the world’s leading manufacturing businesses.

Concept Development

This stage of the project starts with a blank piece of paper creating specifications and initial ideas all of which will come together and give us our concept. At this very important stage it is always a good idea to have everyone involved in the project from operators to maintenance personnel. Whether you have a seed of an idea or an exact blueprint you need to have a dedicated experienced team working with you and Dynamic Automation are that team.

Design

Using the very latest in 3D design software our design team can test and interrogate concepts and designs using FEA and simulation until we have met all our clients requirements and created the very best possible solution. You and your team then have the benefit of viewing a simulated working prototype before we begin the production process, this allows for any changes to be implemented. Our powerful design software coupled with years of problem solving experience and expertise all gained on a vast range of special purpose equipment and applications makes us the best choice for your projects. Our design service can be used on a sub contract basis only if required.

Mechanical

Our machining disciplines include CNC Turning and CNC Milling as well as conventional machining. All our precision machined components are inspected before going on to final treatment. All fabrications are finished to a very high standard and usually have a powder coated finish in a colour to suit our client unless stainless steel is required. All of our standard items which go into a project are chosen carefully for quality and reliability. Our machining facilities and fabrication service can be used on a sub contract basis.

Electrical

Our electrical design is produced on industry standard software that allows us to comply with the latest European standards. All our control panels are built and commissioned in house to a very high standard using quality components. Control panels can include simple relay logic, PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), data acquisition, MMI/HMI and touch screen technology. Unless specified by our clients we standardize on components from industry leaders i.e. Siemens, Mitsubishi, Telemecanique, Keyence, Omron, Allen Bradley etc. Our electrical service can be used on a sub contract basis only if required.

System Control: Electrical

This can be implemented by relay, PC or more commonly PLC controlled, giving us the greatest flexibility. We use a variety of PLC types including Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron and Allen Bradley etc. Our software engineers work closely with our design and build team to give the greatest of control and meet all of the projects objectives. The use of these disciplines will depend on the nature of the project and our clients preference. Our system control service can be used on a sub contract basis only if required.

System Control: Pneumatic

This has a number of benefits including using only one utility (Compressed Air) and being suitable for use in hazardous areas. Dynamic Automation can supply new products with full ATEX approval. Circuits can be simple manual operation of a single actuator or highly complex 3 & 4 group cascade systems with multiple actuators. All circuits can be simulated on our design software before we begin the production process.

The use of these disciplines will depend on the nature of the project and our clients preference. Our system control service can be used on a sub contract basis only if required.

Build and Installation

All of our equipment is assembled and tested at our facility. A highly skilled and dedicated team of fitters and electricians will assemble the equipment ensuring a smooth build throughout the project. All of our equipment will then be checked, ran and tested to the satisfaction of our clients. Installation at you site can be anything from plug and play to a full installation involving civil works contractors. Our build & installation service can be used on a sub contract basis only if required.

Project Management

We believe this is one of the most important aspects of any project, it critically involves keeping the project running smoothly and on time. Working closely with our clients and keeping them informed of progress along an agreed timetable and meeting key milestone points. Each project is risk assessed and CE marked complying with all EHSRs and all current machinery directives. The Project Management phase is also responsible for all documentation and technical manuals.
